We acknowledge the requirements of Part 1 of the Health &
Safety at Work Etc. Act 1974 and accept our responsibilities in that
regard. We are fully committed to achieving a high level of
health, safety and welfare throughout the Company and therefore
recognise our responsibility to provide safe and healthy places of
work to the highest standards.
All persons at work are covered. The legislation protects
not only people at work, but also the health and safety of the
general public who may be affected by work activities. It is
essential therefore that our employees accept their responsibilities
and co-operate with the Company Policy as set out and as further
directed from time to time.
When on site, or in our premises, we will endeavour to the best
of our ability to conduct ourselves about the place in a manner
which has all due regard to the safety of ourselves and any other
person who would be affected as a result of our presence and
actions.
Any plant, tools or equipment we use will be in a safe and well
maintained state of repair. Any materials or substances
provided or procured for use in our operations will be in accordance
with minimum British, European or other recognised standards and be
subject of assessments under current Control of Substances Hazardous
to Health Regulations.
When on site, or in or on a premises, we will be suitably clothed
for the circumstances. We will arrive in whatever clothes is
necessary for example, hard hats, gloves, face protectors,
overalls and similar items.

treatment service for many years. DTS recognises that its
operations impact upon the environment and endeavours to prevent
pollution and ensure that any potential harmful effects are
minimised where possible. We aim to set a good example by
carrying out our functions in an environmentally responsible manner
and remain committed to considering and conserving the environment
during the course of our activities and reducing the amount of waste
produced and ensuring that all waste is disposed of responsibly and
according to any legislative requirements.
