Damproofing & Timber Services (DTS) is a family run
business based in New Inn, Pontypool, Torfaen. We
operate throughout many areas including Gwent, Blaenau Gwent,
Newport, Monmouthshire, Cardiff and Glamorgan.

We carry out all aspects of building and refurbishment
works in both commercial and Private properties.
We offer Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Property
developers and building companies a high standard of service
for the eradication of wood boring beetle and rising /
penetrating damp in any of their properties with maximum
efficiency and the minimum of disturbances to clients, owners
or tenants.
We use the most up to date methods. Materials and
techniques which have been thoroughly tested. DTS is an approved contractor for REMTOX, SOVEREIGN, TRITON, PAM WALL TIES, and
other chemical companies
We are able to offer all our clients a comprehensive and
highly efficient service either as consultants or remedial
specialists. All forms of  dampness, timber
infestation and decay in buildings will be expertly
inspected by our Senior Surveyor who will, depending on client
instructions, examine the property internally and externally
to assess the condition of the building. This is then
followed by a written report including photographs, sketch
plan, specification of proposed treatment, acceptance form,
and a fixed price quotation.
Should you wish to proceed with the recommended works, the
acceptance form is to be completed and returned to ourselves
and the necessary works will be scheduled to start at a
convenient time for the client.
Another option is to visit our local CONDENSATION
CENTRE / DIY HARDWARE STORE, situated in New
Inn. Here you can gain advice on all damp &
timber related problems and purchase the products needed to
carry out the necessary remedial works.

construction industries, during which time he has held the
positions of South Wales Chairman for the Federation of Master
Builders and President and Chairman for Newport & District
Branches.
